If an athlete turned up at one of my sessions like this, I’d send them home.
So I’m not training today. Mentally, it’s killing me (I love winter training); physically, it’s what I need to do.
If I have a few days off now, I’ll be able to train next week; if I don’t have a few days off now, I could end up side-lined for a month.
I give some good advice, but it’s so hard to follow it!
