Reflections on last week:

Although last week wasn’t supposed to be an ‘easy’ week, it was an interesting one: I only ran once and my goodness me, did I run hard! The 80/60 session is one of my favourites and I managed to hit 6:30 miling during the fast bits (this is exceptionally quick for me!).

I managed some of my planned pyramid session in the pool, which was fun and finally upped my weights in Body Pump on Friday.

My training this week:

Monday
pyramid hills
possibly indoor circuits
stretch

Tuesday & Wednesday:
stretch

Thursday:

tempo build-up
pyramid: 4mins, 6mins, 8mins, 6mins, 4mins; 2mins between each
stretch

Friday:
strength and stretch

Saturday:
rest or a slow run if there’s time
stretch

Sunday:
slow run if missed yesterday
stretch
