Recently, I’ve asked my runners what they do that’s not running.

I was pleasantly surprised that they have a whole heap of fitness and other hobbies. It reassured me that if they ever find themselves injured (or locked-down), they’ll have something else to help them to fill their wellbeing wells.

When I think of everything running has given me, it seems really important to put at least some of my eggs in other baskets, just in case. Not only is engaging in a range of physical activities good for my body, but thinking about other things is good for my mind.
